When I put together my Thursday card selections, I did so knowing this was a short week of racing due to the Fair Grounds not running on Super Bowl Sunday. More importantly I understood the urgency going in due to the fact of my fantasy budget getting into a very precarious state.

After Thursday I am feeling much better about it because I hit the early daily-double along with the early pick-4 as part of a four-win day with six board finishes. The budget sits at 442.60 as we enter the Friday Starlight card.

The weather should be fabulous and with the Super Bowl here on Sunday you would think that fans of both teams looking for an outlet to have fun will migrate their way to the Fair Grounds. So I would expect a huge crowd on Friday night. Looking to sustain the good start that I had on Thursday, here now is my look at how I see the Friday slate of races.
