Pineville, La. - After a gutsy performance in which he registered a career-high 15 total tackles, Louisiana College linebacker Richard Logan has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week.

Logan, who re-injured his hand which was already in a cast, fought through the pain to help his defense come up with a series of big defenses stops in the second half of LC's 45-37 victory over Hardin-Simmons.

HSU, the nation's #1 ranked passing offense and #2 total offense, was held to only 10 second haf points, and scoreless in the 4th quarter, with much of that credited to Logan's ability to fly around the field and make plays.

Logan is the second LC linebacker to land on the Team of the Week thi season, joining junior Dominic Graham. So far, LC has had the ASC Player of the Week 7 times, the LSWA Player of the Week 2 times, had 5 players honored on the D3Football.com Team of the Week, and once had the D3Football.com National Play of the Week:
