Louisiana College women's basketball to begin three game home stand starting Thursday

(Game against Mississippi College is on Tuesday December 8, not Monday as previously stated)

Pineville, La. - The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats' dominant 100-50 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor on December 10 marked the last time Jason Tinsley's squad played on their home court in the H.O. West Fieldhouse.

That drought will end this week, as the Lady Cats will begin a three game home stand beginning with Texas Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

LC, who suffered their first loss of the season on December 28 to Ferrum, sits at 9-1 on the year and a perfect 5-0 in American Southwest Conference play.

One of the most explosive teams in the nation, LC still leads the nation, as well as the ASC, in scoring, steals, and turnover margin.

Senior forward Natosha Gottlieb, a local Bolton High School product, continues to establish herself as a frontrunner for ASC Player of the Year as she ranks near the top of the conference in points (16.4), rebounds (9.5), steals (4.5), and blocks (2.1).

The Lady Wildcats will follow their matchup against Texas Lutheran with home games on Saturday against Schreiner at 1 p.m. and on Tuesday against Mississippi College at 5:30 p.m.
