RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech will hold the first of two meet and greets with Bulldog football players and coaches as fans will have an opportunity this Sunday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium to obtain autographs and pictures and interact with the team.
The event will take place on the field of Joe Aillet Stadium and all fans are asked to enter the stadium through the west side gates. Fans coming to the event will be allowed onto the field as soon as the team's annual picture day concludes.
Schedule posters, schedule cards and other material will be handed out while supplies last while fans can also purchase their season tickets or single game tickets during the event.
Bulldog fans in the Shreveport/Bossier City area will also have an opportunity to meet the Tech players and coaches on Saturday, Aug. 18 at Independence Stadium. The Bulldogs will conduct a practice starting at 6 p.m. that day (open to the public) and following the conclusion of the workout (approximately 7:30 p.m.), the Bulldog players and coaches will be available in the Club Level of the stadium to sign autographs.
Louisiana Tech opens the season on Aug. 30 against Texas A&M at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. Plenty of good seats remain as Tech hosts this historic contest against the Aggies in their first game as a member of the Southeastern Conference.
