Tech Museum Open on Game-Day

RUSTON – Fans interested in viewing Terry Bradshaw's four Super Bowl rings and other Louisiana Tech memorabilia can do so on home game days in the Charles Wyly Athletic Center museum area.

Starting with this weekend's homecoming contest against UTSA, the museum area will open on home football Saturday's at 9 a.m. and will stay open until two hours before kickoff when the Bulldog football players and coaches arrive at the fieldhouse.

Kickoff for Saturday's homecoming game against UTSA is 3 p.m.

The museum area is home to a number of memorabilia items surrounding Louisiana Tech football and is highlighted by donations from Bradshaw, including the Blonde Bombers Super Bowl rings as well as Hall of Fame busts.

Admission to the museum area is free.

Tech tailgaters are also reminded that vehicle access to open tailgating around the Thomas Assembly Center will be allowed until 12 p.m. on Saturday (3 hours prior to kickoff).

The tailgating menu for this week's game includes BBQ brisket and beans. Awards will be handed out for the Best Food, Best Decorations and Largest Group as members of the Bulldog baseball team will begin judging at 1 p.m.
