RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech (13-28, 2-13 WAC) will return to the road as the Bulldogs make the short trip to face I-20 rival Grambling State (14-24, 8-12 SWAC) in a midweek matchup beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park in Grambling.
This will be the sec¬ond meeting this season between the two teams as Tech defeated Grambling, 6-0, ear¬lier in the campaign at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park in Ruston. The Tigers are coming off a series sweep at the hands of Southern on the road, while the Bulldogs are looking to rebound after being swept by New Mexico State at home.
"We need a win, so we are going to go over there and play hard and hopefully we can get some type of momentum going before we go to Sacramento State next weekend," head coach Wade Simoneaux said.
