NOTE: Some of LSU’s most talented players are sophomores and not eligible for the 2012 draft. Guys like running back Spencer Ware, cornerback Tyrann Mathieu and punter Brad Wing (actually a redshirt freshman) have bright pro futures ahead. In fact, the Tigers have many superb sophomores who could end up being the best draft class in school history down the road.

We should see many of these prospects at The Senior Bowl, now in its 63rd year. The event is on Jan. 28, 2012 in Mobile, Alabama. Every player at the 2011 Senior Bowl was in an NFL training camp last August with 83 players drafted, including 12 first rounders and two top ten picks, QB Jake Locker out of Washington and OLB Von Miller out of Texas A&M.
