Gunner Kiel may stay in his home state of Indiana to play football as the nation's top quarterback is rumorer to be planning to enroll at the Notre Dame on Tuesday.
Reports indicated the Columbus, Ind., prospect spurned the Tigers and Vanderbilt Commodores to stay at home and play for the Irish. But Rivals.com's Mike Farrell via Twitter reports that the saga is not decided as of Monday evening.
However, Scout.com's Dave Berk tweets that Notre Dame players have been informed that Kiel will enroll at the South Bend campus on Tuesday.
The early-enrollment recruit from the Class of 2012 has completed high school and can sign with any school to begin classes and to participate in spring practices. It was assume LSU had reeled in the versatile signal-caller when he announced his commitment last month.
