LSU junior left tackle Chris Faulk will bypass his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
The news was confirmed Wednesday afternoon by agency Pro Source Sports which announced they will represent Faulk via Twitter.
The Nothshore High alum was named Second-Team All-SEC in 2011 but only played in the 2012 season opener against North Texas before a knee injury suffered in practice required surgery and ended his season.
The 6-foot-6, 320 pound Faulk could still be a top three round selection despite the injury depending on pre-draft combine and workout performances.
Sixth-year senior Josh Dworaczyk replaced Faulk at left tackle this pst season season when he moved over from guard. As a result, LSU currently has no players with college experience at the all-important sports blocking the blind side for the quarterback.
With the departure of Faulk, a total of 10 underclassmen who have decided to leave LSU early for the April draft.
