The New Orleans Saints injury report looked pretty much the same on Turkey Day as it did the day before.
Zach Strief was once again limited in pracrice ahead of the the Saints' showdown with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The starting right tackle is recovering from groin surgery. Rookie third stringer Bryce Harris is preparing for his first NFL start if Strief cannot play.
Barring a setback, Darren Sproles will return to action for New Orleans (5-5) this week. He practiced full for the second straight day Thursday.
The real drama leading up to Sunday lies with the 49ers and their quarterback controversy. Colin Kaepernick continues to take second team reps while starter Alex Smith is also practicing but not yet cleared to play.
San Francisco (7-2-1) appears likely to start Kaepernick regardless of Smith's health situation, but 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has yet to name his starter for this weekend.
