2011—The Saints lose in wild card playoff at the Seahawks, 41-36, on NBC. Seattle became the first playoff team to not only enter the playoffs with a losing record (7-9) but also win a playoff game.

The Seahawks put a high-scoring game out of reach with 3:38 to go on a RB Marshawn Lynch's 67-yard touchdown run where several Saints touched him but couldn't bring him down.

New Orleans came back to score on a six-yard pass from QB Drew Brees to WR Devery Henderson, but ensuing on-sides kick failed. Brees went 39 for 60 for 404 yards a pair of touchdown passes (the other to FB Heath Evans),

Garrett Hartley has three field goals, Running back Julius Jones had a pair of touchdowns.

The Saints had the edge in first downs, 32-19, and offensive yards, 474-415. Seattle QB Matt Hassleback threw four touchdown passes.

Billy Joe Hobert—Born in 1971 (Quarterback 1997-99)—He was signed before game 11 of 1997. It was reported that out of frustration to the Saints QB woes that season, coach Mike Ditka walked out on Hobert's tryout and told a staff member, "If you think he's any good, sign him."

Undra Johnson—Born in 1966 (Running back 1989)
