NEW ORLEANS – The Arena Football League (AFL) assigned LB/DL Brian Coulter and Andre Mathis to the New Orleans VooDoo, announced the VooDoo front office on Wednesday morning.

"Both of these young men have potential and will compete in training camp for a spot on the 2012 roster," said Head Coach Pat O'Hara. "The coaching staff and I are high on Brian and Andre, and think that they can both help the team. Brian spent some time with the Chicago Bears this season, and Andre played in the IFL last season."

For his career two-year career at Missouri, Coulter played in 25 games and finished with 73 total tackles (32 solo), 13 for a loss, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. Coulter started his collegiate career at Pearl River Community College.
