NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans VooDoo defensive lineman Xavier Brown and defensive back Josh Victorian were both placed on Other League Exempt, signing with NFL teams, announced the front office on Saturday afternoon.
Brown signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday afternoon, while Victorian inked with the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday evening.
Brown ranked second in the AFL among rookies in sacks with 10.0, and split time between the Chicago Rush and VooDoo. The VooDoo acquired Brown at the AFL trade deadline, thus helping lead New Orleans to the postseason.
Victorian joined the VooDoo late in the season and saw action in the season finale against the Georgia Force. The St. Rose, La. native and former Destrehan High School star finished the game with 4.0 tackles and 1.0 for a loss.
